Napoleon Beanaparte

Napoleon Beanaparte
It was bound to happen sooner or later. The Mr Bean World Invasion has begun with "Napoleon Beanaparte" in this manipulation of the famous painting of Napoleon Bonaparte by Jacques-Louis David featuring Rowan Atkinson's timeless character, Mr Bean. Enough of this foolishness. On to some serious work now... if that's possible. Hope you got a kick out of it!

Mrs Frank Millet Bean by John Singer Sargent

Back by popular demand. Mr Bean finds his way into yet another great masters painting. Mrs Frank Millet Bean by John Singer Sargent. I'm presently working on a large ad campaign so in between the long hours, I enjoy doing these silly manipulations of Mr Bean. It's relaxing, I get to experiment with new techniques but most of all, Mr Bean is by far the most popular subject I have ever worked with so I will continue to put these out there. I've had numerous requests for these images in high resolution which now number over 50. If you're interested, simply email me your request to rodneywpike@gmail.com.  Many of these images can be found at my Mr Bean Collection link on this site. Custom requests are also welcome.

Lady Agnue Bean by John Singer Sargent

Mr Bean strikes again this time with another defiled John Singer Sargent masterpiece called "Lady Agnue". These silly manipulations by Rowan Atkinson's "Mr Bean" character started off as a joke years ago with several Photoshop contest entries at the site formally known as FreakingNews. His timeless funny expressions are always a source of great material for manipulations. His face has been used in funny situations countless times around the world and continue to amuse people. In fact, he has been so popular in my work that I've revived the concept and am turning out new Mr Bean images like the one here. It's a fun way to brush up on Photoshop skills and relax after a day's work. As long as people keep requesting him in my work, I'll continue to deliver. More to come in the near future. I hope you enjoy!

Madame X - The Scandal with Mr Bean

I'm sure most art enthusiasts are familiar with John Singer Sargent's famous portrait of Madame X but how many know the story behind the painting? Many refer to the portrait as "Madame X, "The Scandal". I've put a bit of my own twist to the story and the painting with Mr. Bean as the subject and the famous shoulder strap loose as Sargent originally painted it.

Sargent's original painting of Virginie Amélie Avegno Gautreau was called “Portrait de Mme” and depicted the subject with a loose shoulder strap causing a scandal. The mother of the subject insisted that Sargent remove the painting but he refused, later painting over the shoulder strap, making it appear more secure and changed the name to Madame X to try and preserve the sitter’s anonymity.
